Castlebar Endurance Arabians is owned and operated by Meg Wade and Chris Gates in the beautiful Upper Murray Region of NE Victoria. Our country is ideal for the breeding and training of top quality performance horses.

The stud is run on 3 farms totalling 3,000 acres located at Burrowye on the southern side of the Murray River mid way between Albury and Corryong. Castlebar is an idyllic site, backing on to state forest and park with Murray River frontage. It offers permanent water, reliable rainfall and good quality grass over undulating ground.

Our aim is to produce world class endurance athletes. Our motto is Fitter Further Faster. We take great pride in the consistency and quality of our home bred horses. Castlebar  stands 9 stallions and runs 60 mares. We sell both domestically and internationally to both breeding enthusiasts and world leading competitors.
